Our Wedding

A letter from the bride

Matthew and I met at a clinical site in Scottsdale, Arizona. We were both working toward becoming Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. At first, I had some reservations about starting a new relationship in school. However, as we got to know one another, Matthew's charm and persistence won me over. From then on, I never looked back. He taught me that sometimes the best things in life are the ones you didn’t know you were looking for. Shortly after graduating in 2024, we moved to Fort Worth, Texas, to start our careers. Our new home was a quaint, 1920s bungalow in the Mistletoe Heights neighborhood. It was the perfect spot for us and our two goldendoodles, Charlie and Oliver. The first few weeks were a blur of unpacking and exploring our new city, but Fort Worth welcomed us with open arms. On May 31st, 2025, Matthew asked me to marry him at one of our favorite places, Cedar Creek Lake. It was the most magical day. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we’re reminded that the best love stories aren’t written in a single moment, but in a lifetime of laughter, growth, and choosing one another every day. When is my RSVP due? 

Kindly RSVP to our wedding by November 1st, 2026, to ensure we can finalize arrangements and create a memorable experience for everyone. Your timely response helps us plan seating, catering, and other details tailored to your presence.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony? 

We recommend that guests arrive 15-30 minutes early before the official ceremony, allowing time to settle in before the proceedings begin. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 p.m.

Dress code?

We kindly request that guests dress in black tie optional attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear mid to floor-length gowns, while gentlemen are expected to wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie .

Can I bring a plus one? 

Due to limited space at the venue, only invited guests will be allowed entry. Please check your RSVP to verify the number of attendees in your party.

Parking? 

The hotel solely offers valet parking. The fee for overnight valet parking is $65 per night, while daytime valet is $20. Uber is recommended.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

In December, Dallas, Texas, typically experiences an average high temperature of 60°F and an average low temperature of 38°F. However, the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Are kids invited? 

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults-only. Thank you for understanding!
