Matthew and I met at a clinical site in Scottsdale, Arizona. We were both working toward becoming Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Eventually, we got to know each other and started dating. I wasn’t exactly a willing participant in the beginning, but his charm and persistence won me over. From then on, I was all in. He taught me that sometimes the best things in life are the ones you didn’t know you were looking for. Shortly after graduating in 2024, we moved to Fort Worth, Texas, to start our careers. Our new home was a quaint, 1920s bungalow in the Mistletoe Heights neighborhood. It was the perfect spot for us and our two goldendoodles, Charlie and Oliver. The first few weeks were a blur of unpacking and exploring our new city, but Fort Worth welcomed us with open arms. We then got engaged on May 31st, 2025, at one of our favorite spots – Cedar Creek Lake. It was the most magical day. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we laugh about my initial slow-burn approach to our relationship. Matthew’s patience and my eventual realization of what a special person he is led us here. We can't wait to start our happily ever after with all of you by our side!
